Home concept stores are my happy place. It’s like my Disneyland. I’ve always enjoyed shopping and looking around for home items and furnitures especially the ones abroad, planning what I’d bring home now and what I’d like to have for our future dream home. During that time when I lived in Singapore, Ikea was my go-to place whenever I would get bored or homesick. Since it was so massive, I would just go there and easily spend a day happily choosing home stuff. And when we went to London during our honeymoon, I immediately fell in love with Fortnum & Mason, a boutique store just oozing with loveliness from its building design outside to all the things they sold inside.
So when I heard that Pottery Barn was opening in Manila, I was just so excited for it. And last night, we went to see it quickly after dinner in High Street before the store closed. I just love everything about it! From the big wooden doors, rustic interiors in line with the “barn” feel, the music that will put you in the mood of creating or re-creating your home, the design and style of each section, the flower station (peonies!!) and a lot more. But what I really like best are their beddings, the Pottery Barn Kids and Pottery Barn Baby section! Linens, curtains and everything else you’ll want in your bedrooms in a wide range of prints and styles that are oh so pretty I just couldn’t stop taking photos.

They have all kinds of fun prints and styles! Polka dots, stars, checkered, florals, chevron, and classic plains.

My eyes went straight to these peonies! Love that they have it in huge white and in other colors too! 🙂
You know that scene in movies or in old books where kids get trapped in the mall or in toy stores? Well, if I were to get trapped in a mall or store here in Manila and spend the night, I would certainly want it to be in Pottery Barn 😀
