This year has been very challenging. To say that we have too much on our plate is an understatement. Creating something also means having the commitment to sustain and grow it and sometimes there’s just not enough time, energy and resources to do all @kendrickco and I do and juggle in between. And yet I find myself still doing more (and adding more to our ton of work 🤨) to tick off personal goals and dreams, one by one, regardless of personal battles, self-doubt and exhaustion. Because there’ll never really be a perfect time to do new things, you just have to do it. Working on this book became my own therapy, dealing with a second loss and those moments I wonder if I’m doing enough for Elian. Last year’s #passionproject was to start @bub.and.weave and I’m glad it did well enough to allow me to do @bababum.ph #BababumBooks because #selfpublishing is not easy and is very costly. It almost made me not push through but what the heck, I’m glad I did. So to my #DearestElian, this book and everything else I do is for you. And it’s finally here!!! Excited to share what we’ve been working on the past months. It’s been part of my #bucketlist to make a #childrensbook and this year I finally got to do it. Combining two of my passions - #travel and #books alongside my dream of continuously promoting #Filipino culture to kids not just here but all those Pinoy kids born and raised abroad. We created #BababumBooks, a series of Filipino travel-themed board books to help them know more about their home country. Today, we launch the first book, #MANILA! 🇵🇭 get to know more about Tom-Tom and his adventures, watch this video and get a copy of #TalesofTomTomMANILA. Not yet out in bookstores so kindly just follow @bababum.ph and DM us for orders. This is the perfect gift for kids and #OFWs coming home this Christmas. Nowadays, you can easily make motherhood or parenthood look so easy and perfect on social media. Yet, that is not always the case. We’ve been blessed with an eternally happy boy who loves smiling and who make it seem like it’s just easy peasy for us at all times. But in reality, behind the nice “perfect photos” are what I call my backbreaking moments (swipe) when he’s fussing and difficult and it’s just us two (that’s his mad face btw), when he doesn’t want to share or he’s acting up and we put him on timeout or when he doesn’t want to nap and I’m tired and I really need him to so I can get things done. There’s a lot more and I just really get by (with loving support from my equally hands-on husband) and remember that the backbreaking moments are the important formative ones. And that there are no perfect moms, just #RealMoms so thank you @babydovecare @littleheartbeatphotography for reminding me this and including us in #BabyDovePH’s new campaign! 👪💙🕊 👗: @bub.and.weave

💦 E & E 💦 One. Fun. Bath. 🛁 Our first bubble bath and it’s with a jungle view. This tub alone made our stay here so worth it and enjoyable and to this day, he still asks to do this again 🤣👩‍👦 sorry naman walang ganito sa bahay so it deserves a post 😅😂
